The Summit is now held every 18 months, offering over 50 sessions, hands-on workshops, and keynote presentations, all centered around using the TapRooT® Root Cause Analysis System to solve problems and enhance performance. To help you prepare, we’ve compiled our top Summit FAQs and answers. Whether you’re planning your first visit or are a returning attendee, here’s everything you need to know!

EVENT DETAILS
Where and when will the Summit (and Pre-Summit) be held?
The Summit will be held from October 1-3, 2025, at the Knoxville Convention Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. Known for its state-of-the-art facilities and welcoming atmosphere, the Knoxville Convention Center provides the perfect backdrop for this dynamic learning experience.
Jump-start your week by joining a two-day class on September 29-30, 2025, just before the Summit begins. These Pre-Summit courses offer in-depth training on a variety of topics, helping you maximize the value of your time in Knoxville. Visit the Pre-Summit courses for a list of available classes and to secure your spot.
What is included in my registration?
Your registration fee includes:
- Access to all keynote presentations, workshops, and breakout sessions
- Breakfast, lunch, and refreshments on Summit days
- Entry to networking events, including the Welcome Reception
- Digital access to Summit materials and resources
What is the Summit attire?
The dress code is business casual. We recommend dressing comfortably for interactive sessions and networking. Consider bringing a light jacket or sweater, as conference rooms can be cool.
Are meals included at the Summit and Pre-Summit?
Breakfast will be provided for registered attendees on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Lunch will also be provided to registered attendees on Wednesday and Thursday. Hors d’oeuvres will be available at the Wednesday night Reception for registered attendees and their guests. Beverages are available for attendees during breaks. All of this is included in your registration fee. You will not have to pay anything additional to join us for any or all meals.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided for Pre-Summit registered attendees on Monday and Tuesday. These meals are also included in the registration fee.

How do I register?
Registration is easy! Visit Registration and choose your preferred ticket type. Early bird pricing is available until June 13, 2025, so register early to secure the best rate.

When you register early, you will be enrolled in the drawing for a new Apple iPad! The earlier you register, the more chances you get to win.
Is there a virtual attendance option?
No, there will not be a virtual option for the 2025 Summit. However, attendees can enhance their experience with the Whova conference app, which will provide access to event schedules, networking opportunities, and interactive features throughout the Summit. The app will help you stay connected with fellow attendees, access session materials, and keep track of your personal agenda. A detailed blog article explanation of how to use Whova at the Summit will be coming soon.
Are there discounts for multiple attendees?

Yes! We offer special discounts for groups of 3 or more attendees from the same organization. Bringing your team allows you to spread the knowledge throughout your organization. For details on group rates, contact our registration team at info@taproot.com.
If I register for both the Summit and the Pre-Summit, do I get a discount?
Yes! Attend the Summit and a Pre-Summit course and save $200.
What kind of hotel/travel discounts are being offered?
The Knoxville Convention Center is surrounded by a variety of hotels offering special rates for Summit attendees. Visit Venue & Hotels for recommended hotels and booking information.
What if I need to cancel?
We understand that plans can change. TapRooT® Summit and Pre-Summit Registrations are 100% transferrable. Attendees may transfer 100% of their TapRooT® Registration fees to future TapRooT® Summits.

Can my spouse attend the Reception with me?
Yes, the reception is free to registered attendees and their spouses.
Can I earn CEUs and CM Credit?
Yes! You may document the terrific training and facilitation you receive during the Summit and apply those credits toward your professional development training program.
CEUs: By attending all the sessions in your selected track, you will earn 2.0 CEUs. Additionally, several of the Pre-Summit courses are also worth CEUs. Both the 2-Day Incident Investigator Course and the 2-day Equifactor® Equipment Troubleshooting Course are worth 1.6 CEUs. By attending one of these pre-Summit courses, and then receiving the outstanding training offered during the Summit, you have the opportunity to earn a total of 3.6 CEUs .
CM: ABIH has awarded CM credit for these events. The Summit contains 16.1 hours which can be claimed for CM credit, and the Pre-Summit contains 15.
