TLDW: What is Equifactor®?

What It is

Equifactor® Equipment Troubleshooting is an equipment troubleshooting framework designed to efficiently and objectively track information around maintenance failures.

In simpler terms, it’s a tool to help companies and businesses understand why and how machinery broke so that it doesn’t break down again.

How It Works

Equifactor® has the investigator ask questions in the same sequence an expert would — that being ranked in order of importance, simplicity, relevance, among other factors. It’s designed to be accessible to all skill levels.

This minimizes downtime while fully investigating the root cause of any underlying issues. We want any machinery to be up and running as quickly as possible, but we don’t want to jump to conclusions.
