How far away is death: Hot-air balloon crash

Four deaths resulted from a hot-air balloon crash in Arizona.

CNN reports that a hot-air balloon “crash-landed in the southern Arizona desert Sunday [January 14, 2024], leaving four people dead and another person critically injured, police announced.”

The report detailed that, “A group of skydivers jumped from a hot air balloon floating over the Arizona desert just moments before it crash-landedSunday, leaving four of its remaining passengers dead and another person critically injured”

Also from CNN, “The ‘devastating incident’ happened around 7:50 a.m. in Eloy, a city about 65 miles south of Phoenix, the local police department said in a news release.”
